We have brought back the CSA Carolina Shag Tour for 2026. Points will be accrued in every contest in which you compete.  After every contest the point totals will be posted Tour Points Leaderboard page. You will be able to follow your progress on the Tour Points Leaderboard page and on our CSA app. First thing first lets review the rules:

Guidelines and Rules

1. Must be a CSA Member in Good Standing

2. Contests entered prior to CSA membership will not be counted toward Tour Championship awards

3. Points will be awarded to both female and male dancers in respective divisions relative to their individual contest placement in Sanctioned CSA Contests as outlined in the CSA Rules governing points awards

4. For the purposes of the CSA Tour, Amateur and Novice points earned during the contest year will be combined to represent a Non-Pro Champions Division

5. Points will be awarded independently to both Male and Female competitors

6. Point totals will be tabulated during the CSA Contest Season and displayed on a Leader’s Board throughout the year. For the purposes of the Tour competition CSA points will be expressed 10x to emphasize the placements

7. CSA Tour points tabulation will end after the last sanctioned CSA contest of the current calendar year resulting in the 2026 Tour Championship placements

8. Both female and male Tour winners in their respective divisions will receive an individual Championship trophy and monetary prize

9. Point ties will be resolved by: 1^st Contests Attended: 2^nd Number of 1^st Place Finishes: 3^rd Number of 2^nd Place Finishes: 4^th Number of 3^rd Place Finishes: And So on until winner is established

10. A Championship Tour Trophy and Monetary Award will be presented in the Non-Pro, Senior Pro and Pro divisions during the CSA Awards Banquet
